TAMARA STARK
I started CrossFit in June 2018. I have loved it ever since and continue to love it.
CrossFit means so much to me. It has changed my life for the absolute best and I am so grateful for it. I have gained so amazing friends along my journey so far. I love that I can go and workout in a safe place where everyone is nothing but encouraging so that I can become the best version of myself.
The CrossFit grunt community and coaches are absolutely amazing.
For someone who has struggled with self confidence and body image my whole life, I am finally at a point in the first time in my life where I am starting to feel confident and comfortable in my own body and am proud of how far I have come. My body shape has changed quite a lot and I am feeling stronger than I ever have before.
I love how strong I have become since starting CrossFit. I am continuing to kick goals each time I go into the box and am able to continue to improve or learn a new movements all the time. The last 4-6 months have been the best months for me with kicking so many goals.
It is great to be able to walk in of an afternoon and let all your worries go for a while and push yourself to your limits with some amazing support from the amazing coaches and members.
I can’t wait to continue to kick goals and become stronger. This is just the beginning of my journey with CrossFit.

MATTHEW BEAHAN
I am a 56-year-old father of two, and Grandfather of three. I work as an electrical contract here in Biloela and have done so for the past 40 years. I have always done something fitness related; I have done Taekwondo and Jujitsu, plus I’ve had a couple of home gyms, and for the past nine years I’ve always walked my dog.
When my Son first started CrossFit I really thought he was mad, the short sharp workouts seemed way too hard to me. Anyway, he opened CrossFit Grunt and I decided I’d give it ago. I have been attending the gym for about two years now and I feel that it helps with my flexibility. I’ve been very lucky in life that I’ve never had many injuries.
I believe CrossFit has made me happier, stronger, and fitter. People who want to try CrossFit should just give it ago, I’m really amazed at the changes and improvements in people and changing their lives.
It’s a really great environment to work out in, everyone is super friendly and I just really enjoy doing it.'

DOM WOODROW
So I went along to the intro class with a friend not intending to do CrossFit at all, just as support for them.
I was back the next day and signed up for a limited membership, but soon changed to unlimited as I became addicted very quickly!
I hadn’t played any sport or been to the gym for 5 + years.
I have learnt how to do a lot of movements especially overhead squats, not my strongest point but have definitely improved.
Who would you recommend do CrossFit?
Anyone! I cannot stress this enough. It’s you against you and everything is scaled accordingly
